Terms of service

These terms apply to every business that signs up for Foodbricks and to every person who signs in to it. Signing up means the owner agrees to them for the business and its staff.

The service

• Foodbricks is billing, ordering, kitchen, stock and reporting software for food businesses, provided over the internet by ROFTR Clouds LLP.
• Each business gets its own address ({yourname}.foodbricks.in), its own database and its own staff sign-ins. Addresses are first come, first served; reserved words and other businesses' names and trademarks may be refused or taken back.
• We may add, change or retire features. We will not remove a feature a paid plan depends on without notice and a way out.

Accounts and sign-in

• An account is opened by proving a mobile number with a code on WhatsApp. The owner is responsible for that number and for the PIN they choose.
• Staff sign in with their own mobile number and PIN. The owner decides what each staff member may do and is responsible for what they do.
• One free trial per business owner. A mobile number or email already on an account cannot open a second trial.

Trial, plans and payment

• Every plan begins with a 15-day free trial. No payment details are taken. Nothing is charged when it ends.
• After the trial you pay for a plan for a month or a year, in advance, by UPI or online. Nothing renews by itself: to continue, pay for the next period; to stop, do not.
• Prices are in Indian rupees and exclude GST, which is added for businesses in India. Prices may change for future periods, never for one already paid.
• When a paid period ends the account is read-only for a grace period, then locked. See the refund and cancellation policy for how long records are kept and how to come back.

Your data

• Items, customers, bills and every other record you enter are yours. We process them only to run the service, as the privacy policy describes.
• You can export your data from the app at any time while the account is open or read-only.
• You are responsible for the lawfulness of what you store, including the GST details on your invoices and the consent of the customers whose numbers you save.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Foodbricks to send unsolicited messages, to bill for goods you do not sell, or to store anything unlawful.
• Do not try to reach another business's data, overload the service or copy the software.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, after telling the owner unless the harm is immediate.

Availability and liability

• We aim for the service to be available at all times and tell you in advance of planned maintenance. Billing continues on the device when the internet or our servers are unreachable and syncs afterwards.
• The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, ROFTR Clouds LLP is not liable for lost profits or indirect losses, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

• You may stop at any time by not paying for the next period, or close the account from the app.
• We may end the agreement for a breach of these terms or if we stop offering Foodbricks, with at least 60 days' notice in the latter case and a way to export your data.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go first to us by email; failing a resolution, to the courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
